Those among our elderly community often feel lonely as they experience minimal opportunity for conversation and engagement with others. However, we know Jesus cares deeply for them, and we want to show them that this Serve Day. We will be meeting tangible needs around the place they gather as we freshen up their community space by completing some much needed painting around the front of their building. But it's not just about painting. Community Harvest Project is a non-profit farm carrying out the mission of engaging and educating volunteers to grow fresh fruits and vegetables for hunger relief. Through educational initiatives and community partnerships, they bring thousands of individuals together each year to improve access to healthy foods for those in need across Worcester County. We will be spending time doing some much needed painting to help improve the outside of the bathhouse in addition to completing some landscaping to freshen up the grounds.
